Buddy Carruth

Mr. Carruth is a partner and founding member of Fairgrounds Ventures and is responsible for investment origination and evaluation, transaction due diligence and execution, and all capital raising activities.
Prior to founding Fairgrounds Ventures, Mr. Carruth was a Vice President at Mountain Capital, a private equity firm targeting control investments in the energy sector. While at Mountain Capital, Mr. Carruth focused on the evaluation, due diligence and execution of transactions focused in the upstream sector.
Before joining Mountain Capital, Mr. Carruth was an analyst in Scotiabank's Energy Investment Banking Group where he focused on a variety of M&A transactions in the oil and gas sector. Mr. Carruth holds a B.B.A degree in finance from Texas Christian University.
